Families Together Groups
for family members and care providers of teens and adults
who have developmental disabilities
Families Together groups meet in locations around the state to provide support to each other, exchange information, and learn about opportunities for advocacy. They are sponsored by a grant from the VT Developmental Disabilities Council and the Vermont Family Network. Participants in the groups decide what sort of support and connections they want, so some may be social gatherings while others have speakers addressing areas of concern, such as housing, employment, and social inclusion.
